I imagine Trump would be too scared to debate RFK on the efficacy of the COVID vaccines.
Trump would be exposed if he debated RFK on efficacy of the COVID vaccines.
His only hope would be to hurl insults & make it a WWF like event ( which plays well with most of his supporters)
He would surely exploit RFK's vocal chord problem, interrupting him and moving past the issue.
I'm sure the Democrat candidate would back Trump up.
It's really Trump AND the Dems vs. Kennedy because only Kennedy has any real change in mind.
Agreed. Although, I'm not with him on many of the changes he wishes to implement, but at least it shakes up the status quo.
...then he can go back to being the real RFK Jr.
I don't see any signs that's going to happen. I see a lot of evidence that he can plainly see that business as usual is no longer possible.
Which is one of the things I like about him. In fact, it's the main thing I like about him, by a wide margin.
We're talking about different aspects but arrive at similar conclusions. So we'll see how it goes.
I know, I'm disappointed in a couple things also. But I also understand he needs to capture a large number of Democrats and Republicans both, if he wants a chance to win, and then he can go back to being the real RFK Jr.
It is the nature of a Independent run, especially in this postmodern moral and intellectual vacuum we live in.
I have no idea if he's done the right thing.
But he's been around a LONG time, and my opinion of him isn't going to drop too much just because he thinks this is the best shot, whatever he does, if he gets in there, it's going to matter.
Here's the thing... We KNOW the policies of the other two candidates. Where RFK Jr. is bad, it seems like the other two are just as bad or even worse. I'm not expecting Ron Paul to jump in, so RFK may be the next best chance to shake things up. At a minimum, it'll cause disruption in the DNC - that's always a good thing.
