Revolution By Mail project needs a design and coder

We have a great project that needs to get moving and need help with a design and a coder for this effort.

This site will be home to those who would like to send a copy of the manifesto to all of congress, delegates and others in a grassroots style. To read about this project you can check out the STICKIED thread at the link below

We need a design and a coder to develop the script for the backend of the site as soon as possible. Any help or direction would be appreciated.

We already have

1. web hosting (Mine)
2. domain name (revolutionbymail.com already bought)
3. admin (I admin sites for a living and will do this for free)

All that is needed is

1. design
2. script

All we need now is 3 PAGES DESIGNED with the "simple" idea I put together. Check my signature and click the link to go to the revolutionbymail.com thread and check my last post there talking about a simple idea for now.

I think this effort needs to get started NOW rather then later SO all we need is 3 pages designed and I will get the site setup, put the delegate lists on the site as well as put the voting up for what group should be "next" for the effort.

Many like the idea of getting the delegates done 100% (as they become known that is) then senate before congress since congress should have known this stuff already since Ron has been preaching it at him for years already.

It will all go to a vote but I know AFTER election time this project will continue, we can continue the revolution by mail until we get EVERYONE reading the book.

We will be doing a stamp or "text' inside each book that we send out so that it will encourage others to give their copy away BUT also buy and ship more books to those they know as well WHILE putting that same stamp or text in the book as well so this will be a continuing and never ending effort that CAN'T BE STOPPED.

After we get this launched I will be setting up the revolution book club which will get those in your general area discussing books like the manifesto and getting involved in local politics as well to help with the fight from all fronts.

So any design ideas? should we do a design contest?

anyone willing to help get the word out about this effort that is CLOSE to being ready to launch and would really generate ALOT of solid results.

Don't worry about design yet. A simple white page with a form and a few buttons is sufficient for now. Make it functional first, and pretty second.

Even a simple page needs to get designed but yes I do agree with what you are saying. That is actually the main reason why it went from coder + designer for this project down to 3 page designs and I will do the rest.

I do agree that simple will get things moving and after things get bigger odds are someone will offer up a design + script to make things run better.

All I want is the site up and functional BUT I do not want to throw something up NOW if it is not 100% able to do the basics first.

All that would be needed though would be

1. list of delegates and their contact information
2. a couple forms to submit new candidates and then submit tracking info

the "State by state" pages can be blank white with a list of them and a "buy and ship" button and a "submit tracking" button next to each name.

All of which is simple to say the least.

Anyone wanting to do a design idea, logo, header, color idea, theme or ANYTHING for this effort please get it to me BY Monday. I want to get this site up and going even if it is basic SO get your ideas in by Monday if possible.
