This was just posted on the Daily Paul:

"I have a request and that is that you stop calling the campaign with your complaints. I have offered to work with them on the critique. This is not set in stone, and can be redone. These are real supporters, not actors. I know most of them. Sure Ron could be smiling, and the script could be better. I am going to watch it carefully and send them my suggestions.
But please stop inundating Kent with phone calls and emails OK?
It would be appreciated.
Thanks.."

That was the lastest post from Jane Aitken on the Daily Paul.

I know it seems to be the minority opinion today but Dr. Ron knows what he is doing and has been a crafty campaigner for 30 some years.

Let the campaign be the campaign and let the grassroots be the grassroots.

I agree with you. Seems there are a bunch of folks that think because they can make a YouTube video that they are qualified to be a campaign manager.

The two are no longer separate. If you look at what is going on across the nation, the people that are being placed in official positions of power are the leaders of the grassroots.

And the very people who are complaining are the very people who have provided 80% of the donations!

BUT; The grassroots has made its point about the commercial. Any more calls/emails will serve no good purpose, and only take up their time.

*Sigh of Relief*

Hopefully, some of the suggestions made in the other threads, will be taken into consideration.

I wonder if they know they'll have to deal with us again when we compete for cabinet positions!

No, it is the silent majority position, I strongly suspect. But yes, there some very energetic supporters probably surprisingly excited in their first presidential race. :p

It is a good thing they'll touch up or redo the ad, I think everyone can agree at least a couple of changes were needed.

Campaign

In my humble opinion, the campaign has made a few mistakes, one of them being that ad with the negativity in it. But I am not going to air them here. I'm sure there are some savvy people in the campaign, but they just might not be in positions to do anything about these mistakes.

Every campaign makes mistakes, but in the final analysis, it's the people who must go out and vote.

Look at the McCain campaign. They had 160 staff members at the outset in January, and whizzed through $20M dollars. They have nothing to show for it and are in bad shape financially according to McCain himself. Those on the trail in NH hardly saw anyone working for McCain in those early months. What the heck were those people doing?

At least the Paul campaign has not misspent the money it's gotten. If you heard radio ads #1 and #2 (there were earlier ones from independent sources too) those are great.

If you want the campaign to hear from you, donate again.

We have to trust them to run a campaign with 50 staffers if we're prepared to trust Dr. Paul to run the country.

Word. I think there's a saying about an excess of cooks...
