If I had a business - it'd be a different story. I'd have to ask for green cards, and in that case, I would.
I've been using the same farrier for years who happens to be Mexican. When I first met him I asked him: "Do you have a green card?" He answered: "Yes, you wanna see it?" I told him no, that his word was good enough. He could be lying to me, I dunno. He could have a fake one, I dunno. Sure would look bad for me considering I'm a minuteman and was a member of the executive council for the MCDC California Chapter for a couple years.........will I ask him for it? NO, I won't. Just sayin....

Business has nothing to do with it. You are an employer.
If it turned out the person you hired was revealed to be undocumented in the media how would you react? Would you take the Dobbs I ain't sayin shit approach or something different?
An employer of my farrier? Wrong. He owns his own farrier business and I am a customer.
I'd say the same thing I'm saying here.
If that is in fact the case I stand corrected but I got the impression you do not know if he is exercising a state privilege (operating a business) or you are his employer because he is undocumented and unable to obtain a state privilege.
I live near the border and have my entire life, in all four border states. It's not hard for illegal Mexicans to start businesses here at all. BofA doesn't even ask for a SS# to open an account - unless of course English is your first language and you look white - but I digress.
The big difference here is if you are going to rail about something you ought to be willing to discuss... inconsistencies. You are. One would think Dobbs is smart enough to get that.
Tu quoque fallacy.
Too bad the sheep fall for it.
Not all uses of tu quoque arguments involve logical fallacy. One convenient and not fallacious way [to use tu quoque] is by pointing out the similarities between the activity of the criticizer and the activity about which he is being questioned.
