A chip in has been made to collect the funds necessary to have a recount in NH. Any funds not used will be returned to the donator asap. the funds collected will be used to pay for the recount in Dr. Paul's name and hopefully he will institute the recount himself to show his appreciation for all the work we the Grassroots have done in his behalf.

I am contacting his family to try to get this notice to him as the National HQ is not likely to inform him of this event.

I was kinda thinking that HQ could pony up the cash for this...since we donated so much to them...and I will gladly donate more if they do.

Also, since other candidates(Obama) have a vested interest in the recount maybe they would be willing to split recount costs between the campaigns?

This is NOT a 'scam'.

The 6.5M figure was a typo and has been corrected to 65K.

Linda Hunnicutt, one of the Granny Warriors set up this chip-in. Linda has been actively and diligently promoting Ron Paul full time for over a year.

If we had 2,000 activists who were working as hard as Linda has been we would be at critical mass by now.

So don't be picking on Linda. Very few folks are as dedicated to the cause as Linda and the other Granny Warriors are.
