It's sad. There's a lot of good people in this country that have been victimized by a polished, well-honed marketing/propaganda machine. These people have been bombarded for so long with lies, disinformation, and false choices, that they don't even recognize the truth anymore.
We shouldn't be too hard on the brain-washed. They are victims, and deserve our compassion. Not everyone has the personal strength to defy the herd, to stand alone with their convictions in the face of ridicule, particularily in these days when manufacturing consent has become such a science.
So let's try not to hate the victims of neo-con/socialist/statist propaganda. The message of individual liberty is strong, and it's true. It's more powerful than fear. Let's stay on message, tell the truth and be respectful to all, including those who fear freedom.
