Rand Paul's donation rate picking up

Before Bunning dropped out Rand was only raising an average of about $250/day online (not counting the minibombs).

It's been much higher for the past week or so. Today he has already raised $2,500 online and it's not even noon yet.

Things are looking very positive. Even if his money bomb doesn't bring in a mil, he still may have the funds to compete.

Rand says he needs 2 million, if the Money bomb gets him close to 1 mil he is halfway there.

Yep, it's kind of a cyclical process. Once you raise money, you get media, you become a "legit" candidate, you get even more donations.
