Rand Paul on Fox & Friends 8/28

I don't understand you. You pretend that this mob isn't violent, even while Rand is telling you they are. Your wish isn't for the mob to let Rand get to the hotel safely, but instead you wish that Fox would portray the mob as "mostly peaceful".

I watched the entire video. Did you? Rand said "If it wasn't for the wall of police holding them back they would have physically attacked us." Only...if you actually watch the video the "wall of police" is only in front of Rand. Behind Rand, his wife and their female friends there was nobody but the BLM protesters. Rand was focusing so much on what was in front of him that he didn't see that. I am re-watching the video now. At one point I see one protester asking one of the women "Why are you supporting Trump?" I didn't hear "We want to kill you all" though I don't doubt that somebody said it. Again, I said "I wish Fox had shown more of the video." Why does that bother you?

Yes I watched the entire video last night. You really should apply for a job at CNN.

Rand is hinting at some of the things many of us have been trying to state here. These are not organic riots or mobs of people, far from it, these are well organized and funded operations in order to stir up civil arrest in the country. It's why these people cannot be rationalized with to any extent, they have been trained to get in people's faces and start fights, destroy property, and prevent healthy dialogue and discussion, with the goal or attempt to break down social order.

Some are MKultra'd, others have literally been trained by the same people that helped train other mob outfits around the world. More than 10+ countries are involved with training and sending these groups here and Rand alluded to this without getting into finer details. We already know there are groups here from Venezuela that were the same members there that helped topple that country into communism more than 2 decades ago. Those people are here now, on our streets, doing the same thing they did to their own country.

Some are Marxists. Some are right wing national socialists posing. They have been caught doing that. And some are just regular people. A mob takes on a life of its own separate from the people inside of it.

I think what he's asking for is context. That requires you show the full video. I know that's what we have been wanting with the shooting in Wisconsin. If it was violent then so be it. We need to be able to articulate our position with absolute certainty we are right.

Nobody believes the crowd wasn't up to no good and aggressive, but let's not fear showing it in it's entirety.

If you watched the video you would understand it was shot in frame to watch Senator Rand Paul so you can't see the aggressive people that had been surrounding them or that the DC police were stopping people from coming up from behind them outside of the frame.

Look again at 1:50. You can see a wide angle. At this point there are no police behind Rand Paul or to his right side. I can't see to his left side because that's were the camera is. Jack Murphy, the person filming, who is a Trump supporter, is clear that at that point there are no police other than the two or three in front of Rand Paul. And nobody is grabbing Rand Paul or pushing the police. You can see people talking to the police. You can see people talking to two of the women with Rand Paul. At 2:30 one of the protesters does throw a cup that hits one of the women. That's the only thing I see thrown but that was disrespectful and uncalled for. At 2:58 you can again see one of the protesters talking to one of the police officers. At 3:50, Mr. Murphy points his camera down the street in front of Rand and says "A whole shytload of cops are coming right now. They are staging at 14th and 10th and (inaudible)." During this time, all the way up to 4:30, the same protester is talking to one of the cops. At 4:45 that protester is gone and a woman is chanting/singing to that same cop "Breona Taylor." At 5:00 in you can see well again the street to the right of Rand (mostly empty after you get past the protester), and the sidewalk behind Rand (passable once you get past the protesters and there is a building behind that.) At 5:30 someone starts a "Say her name" chant. At 5:46, Mr. Murphy counts and says "Looks like they have 1, 2, 3 police officers. Rand Paul, his wife and two friends. Surrounded by like...30 or 40 people. There's like about 100 police to the south. Oh. Here they come." Once the bicycle cops moved in, Rand, his entourage and the three officers that were with him started moving forward. Note this doesn't jive with what Rand said. He claimed he was surrounded by 120 or so people prior to them trying to move forward. He also said they tried to move forward because they couldn't wait for the cops. But that isn't true either. According to Jack Murphy there were 100 police pushing back a crowd of 30 to 40 people. At no point was the crowd pushing back the police except for that one moment when the bike copy pushed a protester with his bike and that protester pushed back. That's the only time you see Rand pushed. (The cop that was pushed basically fell into him).

I will give Rand the benefit of the doubt based on the stress and the confusion of the moment. But the selective edit played on Fox and Friends doesn't come close to showing what actually happened. I know I will get hate from some here just for telling the truth. That's okay.

For that moment maybe but that's just a small time frame because Rand was being followed so he couldn't walk around the block. People were chasing in front of him blocking the path and surrounding him to see what was going on and shouting. You have to come up behind someone in order to walk in front of them. They didn't have an endless amount of people standing in the pathway of where he wanted to go.

Edit: Regardless, what Rand said happened didn't. The crowd close to him, not blocks away in some video I haven't seen yet, wasn't pushing the police or grabbing Rand or anything of the short. And Rand and the three officers with him started moving out after the reinforcements arrived and not before.
