well, he's getting a lot of flack for criticizing Palin and her supporters...that was a dumb move. WHY would he want to isolate her followers? I read an article that Dr. Paul and his wife have been members of the Lake Jackson Country Club ..lifetime members...so I wonder why he would have made that remark that Palin's supporters are "country club republicans"? I don't think that was the greatest thing he could have done, especially when she always said good things about him. tones

WTF.....Country Club Republican doesn't mean a republican that belongs to a country club....It's a generalization of an establishment type that is much more prone to being a moderate, aka one without any true coherent political philosophy conducive to liberty, on most issues and are just part of the beltway. Prime example...Rockefellers in the 60s and Bushs today....
