Privacy in the EU; some help please

So, in this thread(which some may remember as the firearms debate I brought in earlier), the debate has raged up again to the point where I am arguing as guns as a counter for police and govt excesses...

Anyway, i am running into trouble. Any thoughts on the situation. I am Karynos on there; my primary foe is Full Metal Geneticist(FMG).

I am working on a theory too. The dominant nation in the world order is often the most corrupt. Underneath that nation, others are more reformed due to the necessary competition between the two...which means government is working at the moment in the EU, until at least the economy unwravels. That is why it shows gains. Similarly, civil liberties work the same. But anyway, thoughts please.

Oh, I forgot to mention that on the first link, the stuff about privacy is all on the last page or maybe the page before that. The first is still actually guns.
