Possible New Idea.

I do not know if anyone is working on this or not or even if the idea has been brought up here but given the voter fraud controversy in the 2004 elections and some of the recent polling events, (I still have no idea how we did so poorly at Ames Iowa. I was there..) would it not be prudent for someone to set up an independent confirmation process for the primaries in advance?

I have not thought this process through entirely but the campaign or someone could send out a voter confirmation card to every donor/supporter and right after they vote for Ron Paul in the primaries, they can send it in the mail somewhere to confirm and/or go to a site set up for this purpose on the web.

What about this guys/gals?

It really makes good sense to me to do something like this in advance...

i think it is a great idea... although it is hard to say
how much it would change things b/c it'd be too
easy to attack... say,

"well, it's unscientific b/c it doesn't present a random
sampling"

or who knows. i think it would take a great deal of planning/contemplating
the potential weaknesses (in the opposition's eyes) of such a system
and adjusting from there.

worth tinkering w/ though, no doubt.

I should also note here that I am not suggesting any sort of conspiracy per say, I just do not think it would be bad to confirm things.

Do any of us really think that it is beyond our opponents to cheat where possible?
