Possible idea for the official donation form

I was checking out Mitt's official site and saw a neat idea that the campaign should consider adding to the contribution form. When you define the amount of money, you can also check a box to make it an automatic monthly contribution. Here is the text from Mitt's donation page:

Check here to make this a monthly recurring contribution. The amount you selected above will be debited from your credit card each month in support of the Romney for President campaign.

That seems like a no-brainer to add to the RP donation form. What do you think?

Makes sense. I have read people on the forums talk about how they donate on a monthly basis so I figured this would help them out. Those recurring donations really add up.

How about weekly recurring donations? Anyway, if Ron Paul can raise money without recurring donations, it only shows how strong his support is. Yes, all the other candidates do have recurring donations set up, but it shows that their support is weak.

I think this is a great idea. And you always have the option of opting out of recurring donations by not checking the box.

Of course he should be doing this! Saying he shouldn't is like saying he shouldn't be sending out emails asking for donations either! This is how fundraising works! I don't know why they haven't done it.
