Hello everyone,

I was just wondering if Congressman Paul has yet been a guest on The Ellen Show, (daytime TV)? McCain was a guest...

Thank you.

Sincerely,
Omphfullas Zamboni

I don't know if he has been, but that would be awesome. I bet Ellen would like him a lot more than she did McCain today.

Rp has been mentioned on the show before..

There is this classic girl, called Gladus or something, anyway shes hilarious.. and Ellen calls her up from time to time, and last time asked who she supported.. she went on about the Constitution and said RON PAUL is the only candidate who has any hope for America.. LoL.

I don't watch the show, think its trash tbh.. lol just recounting when this was last brought up - youtube of it somewhere, its pretty sweet. :D

Women's show... abortion issue will be raised - I pretty much guarantee it?

i thought about that today when i saw the clip on thinkprogress.

though i also wanted him on the view, and then they just attacked him on abortion and it didn't turn out too well....

"Dear Ellen
Recently you had a surprisingly unwanted candidate on your show. Maybe its time to give Ron Paul a chance. He has recently become a threat to several organizations within the USA. Interview him and decide for yourself if hes unqualified. Thank you! Long time fan!"

Cleverly worded ;)

ron would handle the gay marriage in a more logical manner
he would explain his position that the federal government should not be involved at all

I've always been a fan of Michael Badnarik's position: "If you have a marriage license, what do you have permission to do now that you did not have permission to do before? Who gave you that permission, and where did they get the authority to give you that permission in the first place?"

File a joint tax return, and the government. People should have the right to reserve a partner in advance because if the government allowed people to make these joint decisions all willy-nilly there would be mass exploitations of serious spousal privileges, such as pulling the plug on life support. To support an alternative "contract" would just be marriage under another name.

Not to mention rights over children. When I was 15, my mom announced she was in love with a woman with a newborn, and they moved into our house. My Mother shared duties for the first 6 years of her "wife's" son. They were "Married", they had a ceremony and rings, and a stated lifetime commitment. When the "wife" decided that she wanted a "divorce", there was nothing my Mother could do but beg and plead to have any visitation with the child she had been raising.

Things ended up working out decently, but without recognizing that people of the same sex can enter into contracts similar to marriage - in benefits and responsibilities - there will only be negative effects when if those contracts are broken: which is only where the Rule of Law should come in.

Throughout the show, I kept thinking, "Awkward.."

Emailed them and everything. :D
