Ok, apparently John Kerry raised $5.7M on the day he accepted the nomination...it's no surprise that one would raise more on that day since all factions are united behind you and special interests immediately start trying to buy you. That's why I think our accomplishment is much better, even though a little bit less according to the numbers.
However, do we have a record of our own? Could we possibly have raised more in one day than any other person seeking their parties nomination for president has ever raised in a day(as opposed to John Kerry who had already RECEIVED his party's nomination)?
If so, that's a pretty awesome thing!
