Meaning;
Responsibility & Authority
If someone agrees to do something we expect him to do it. It has become his responsibility.
For him to work without having to ask permission for everything he also has the authority to do things his way. The job has to stay within the description, of course!
Limited commitment.
When the job is finished, responsibility and authority ends!
Only difference will be anyone elected to some position is expected to hold it for the term.
Individual Initiative
If somebody has an idea please stand up and say so.
If the idea is accepted he will normally also be expected to carry it out himself!
