Here is our chance to put the money infront of the campaign... this time! We all know the money came in too late for Ron in 2007/2008! Rand is way ahead of the game in this race!!! Let's put him WAY OUT INFRONT!!!!

This will be a record for a US Senate Race.... and no doubt will land Dr. Paul in a media firestorm.... Let's do it!

Sign up and pledge to put Rand Paul in the Senate!

Apparently, that site hasn't been updated since 6/3/09... Wtf

No thanks. When/if he finally decides to run, get back to me. Otherwise nada. Not gonna donate to someone that isnt even running. In case you havent heard, there is a recession going on the brink of a depression.

I'm not saying it can't happen but 1 million bucks in a single day for his Senate campaign is too much to expect. Dr. Paul had national attention. 90% of the people who donated to Ron will not donate to Rand. Hardly anyone knows anything about him. I have many friends who donated to Ron who didn't know anything about Rand until I mentioned it and they still haven't donated to Rand. 1 million is not realistic for a moneybomb 7 weeks away.

We have almost 2 months to promote it. We can make it happen if we put out enough effort.

I will once the site says so. If in fact the site is in line with time, then the pledges are shamefully low, even after I signed.

I emailed Trevor and he updated the date.

Also, consider the following when looking at the total pledge total:

  • Rand has not officially announced his run. Although it is quite clear that he will be running, some people are unable to see that. And those people are unwilling to donate until he announces his run. Expect big news on or before July 15th in that regard, since that is when Bunning will be forced to announce his fund raising.
  • The new site has not been advertised to the previous moneybomb lists. Trevor has noted that when banners and other things are complete, he will send out an email to his lists.
  • The new site just launched a couple days ago.. I, along with many others, will be flooding the interwebz soon.
  • The site used to "You will an email each day with our total number of subscribers ..." which probably discouraged many people from signing up. Trevor has changed that as of a few minutes ago.

:) This moneybomb might not break a million, but it will be of epic proportions considering the factors.

Sorry for some of the issues with the site (date being off, etc.). The site isn't really live yet and so I hadn't done a full check through. Also we're missing banners still (which are coming) and so that's why there hasn't been any promotion yet and why the numbers are low. Once we do a full mail list blast and PR blast things should pick up.

As far as his fundraising potential goes I think it's going to be incredible. I can't know what will happen but personally I think we can beat 1 million. And I think Adam Kokesh gives us one of the best reasons why Rand Paul's race is so important to us at the end of this video:

If you like you can skip ahead to minute 5:00 to get right to it.

I just posted about Rand Paul's money bomb on the Detroit Craigslist...Rant and Raves board..

It should real in some patriots, usualy does.

I pledge to donate at least $100 on Aug 20th. Looking forward to it - thanks for the thread.
