The Oklahoma County GOP is holding their straw poll @ the State Fair - NOW
when i was there last night, we were in third:
PAUL (45 votes)
Guiliani (91 votes)
Thompson (257 votes)
the current results of the poll are posted, SO walk ups will most likely vote for the person in the lead.
-this is for two reasons:
1 - people want to vote for a winner & not feel like they are wasting
their vote.
2 - most people dont honestly know who to vote for, and they assume
others do, so they will cast their lot with the majority 9 times outa
10.
IF WE PUT RON PAUL IN THE LEAD EARLY, I BELIEVE WE CAN HOLD ON TO THAT LEAD.
the fair just started friday & runs for two weeks.
you do not have to be registered republican to vote.
they didnt ask us for any ID at all (which i dont like. but whatever..)
please tell any okies that you know. call any family or friends that live here.
our OKC meetup group is having a meetup there on monday, but we need more to overtake fred's lead.
