Obama has been sinking ever since he groveled before AIPAC

Has anyone noticed that Obama has been sinking in polls steadily ever since he flip flopped and groveled before pro-war AIPAC lobby and became almost "hardliner" on Iran war issue? His FISA flip flop didn't help either.

His inflated and so called "20 points lead" has almost vanished. Won't be surprised if he actually fell behind in polls in months ahead if this trend continued. Which would be such a stunning slap given low approval of GOP among public.

Newsweek Poll Shows 12 Point Drop Barack Obama's Lead Over John McCain

In a matter of almost 3 weeks, from June 20, 2008 to July 11, 2008, Barack Obama has gone from a 15 percentage point lead over John McCain to a 3 percentage point lead, which is within the margin of error.

not much has changed in polling, actually

Gallop has never shown huge lead for Obama but even there it's a tie now erasing earlier lead. Fake Messia's flip flops have started to reveal the real slick talking snake oil salesman and just another lying politician that he may be.

Obama supporters will be misled into further military escalations into Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iran. They will end up feeling betrayed and used just like many Bush supporters who believed his "no nation-building" B.S. (myself included).

I believe this is very likely. The term neo-liberal will soon become as common as "neocon" is being used today...If Obama wins that is.

Ventura might be onto something by holding off for a 2012 presidential run. The country might actually be ready for a 3rd party by then once people see how both parties equally suck. His rock star status finally gave Ron Paul's convention some local coverage here in MN last night. That's how shallow the country is. Paul just comes across as a whiney old man to people. When the same whining comes out of a former WWF star, people start to listen.

Sad.

EDIT: On the flipside, an Obama victory might strengthen the republican party, they'll have a common cause to rally against and discover their conservative roots again. If McCain wins, the republican sheeple who carry water for the party will continue to do so no matter how liberal he leans. And these same republicans carrying water will also have an extra helping of a 'cumstache' under their nose and keep wearing those presidential McCain kneepads consistently.

People who just vote the party are pathetic.

You are on to something...
We just had our first woman governor in louisiana in the previous term.
She botched katrina, and did a whole host of big government BS with little benefit to the general public. a lot of boondoggles for brother-in-laws.
And now- people have a bad taste for women in politics. I know it isn't right to generalize... but people do it. So it may be another 200 years before another woman is elected governor.

Except for people who plan on just voting Campaign for Liberty candidates, right?

Well, a bad taste for mush-mouth Cajuns named Kathleen Bobblehead Blanco, maybe.

Besides, Chimpy McHitlerbush and Brownie botched Katrina. Don't lay that on Blank-O.

Blanco didn't buck up.
This is louisiana. We should take care of our own. Tell DC to go to hell.
They were turning people away who came to help.
They (tried to) shut down churches who were housing people.
Blanco was inept and didn't have a sense of our sovereignty.

At least Foster instill a sense of pride in state.

I would say more but people in this country don't think before they speak and would label me a racist! I grew up in Astoria Projects NYC, and know how bad it is for blacks, Hispanics and even low income Whites. But what do i know, I'm just a Ron Paul Revolutionary...

Well I gotta hand it to those who supported Obama on his previoous pre-ordainment platforms.

They are not acting like republicans and going along just because he is "one of them". We had 6 years of republicans being lapdogs, giving Bush a pass when he did everything the GOP fought Clinton on. And that same GOP stabbed Ron Paul in the back in 08.

But what dog have we in this fight? So Obama might not get elected. So what. This means a McCain presidency.

And I cannot waste good champaign when all we have gained is a socialist being defeated by a fascist.

It would be classic if the spineless Democrats elected in 2006 lost the presidency by caving in and playing it safe. Maybe next time the will of the people will count for something.

Go Barr/Baldwin 2008!

Ha ha ha. I know how it went down, ami.

But I am starting to wonder, with Obama off by 12 points in the last month, how all those fine folk down in the Ninth are feeling about their candidate going Oreo on 'em.

That and it is actually painful to listen to him try to speak. Today was just awful when he was dealing with the questioner. He cannot articulate without a teleprompter.

Today a lovely black gentleman questioned Obama legitimately about his new proposed $1000 stimulus. The gentleman so got it and was educating the audience on who would pay for it.

Obama stuttered terribly through the answer. He also stuttered even more terribly when answering a hechler's question today.

Ditto. I got the impression that she was unintelligent, but she definitely made sure she got herf photo ops with teh President when he came. She was trying to appear governorish, but failed to impress me completely. Then there is Landrau-is she not heavily involved in the corrupt machine?

Sad to see how our federal government by its example has corrupted the state governments so badly. This is what comes of federal handouts and interference.
