What do you folks think?

A website set up like the 5th November-style:

If we can get a crapload of pledges where people pledge they'll buy an issue of Time Magazine with Dr. Paul on the cover: This might convince Time Magazine that the 'spike' in sales would be worth covering the man.

Basically, this is where the free market will visibly create 'demand' in which the suppliers (in this case the MSM) will have no choice but to listen. I think Dr. Paul is creating enough buzz as of late to be considered as news worthy.

My only concern is that Time would only include this past week as merely a footnote.

Dr. Paul on the cover of Time!

I know I'd buy an issue!!!

Addendum: I'm not asking Time Magazine to write a 'puff-piece'. They can write whatever the heck they want (Good and/or bad on RP), all what I am saying is: I'd love to own an issue of Time Magazine with RP's face on the cover.

I don't think TIME magazine will take something like this into consideration seriously. But I do think that if we pester them like we pestered Jay Leno, we will get results like we got with Jay Leno. ;)

RP didn't "refute" 9/11 truth. Think about it, that statement does not even make sense!
Ron Paul has said on the record that he thinks we should have an independent investigation of 9/11 so of course he wants to get to the truth, which is not contained in the pages of the 9/11 commission report.

Simply having mentioned the possibility has increased the potential for a story in any publication.

...If they [media] get a clue, they'll know that their viewer ship will increase with our attention alone!

Screw Time Magazine.. CFR shill helping the globalists.

If they dont want to cover RP , their loss..

not too fond of time. why should we be begging them for a story? they should be begging us. :D

Frankly, I think that if Time Magazine was a serious publication, Ron Paul would be their person of the year.

The criteria for Person of the Year is the person who made the most news during the year the magazine is published. I think the person of the year issue is the last issue of the calendar year. Honestly, can you think of anyone who has generated more news, more buzz, than Ron Paul in 2007?

Not a bad idea but we're better off getting their attention if we just pool a bunch of money to by a ginormous advertisement. They would react a lot more favorable to that rather than several thousand people "pledging" to purchase a copy.

After Moveon.org's "Betrayus" ad, the public got a real sick stomach about it.

I'd rather roll the dice and see how Time covers Ron Paul. Even if it's a scathing article, I would be hard pressed for Time Magazine to portray Ron Paul as a flip-flopper or a liar.

At best, Time Magazine would try and portray Dr Paul as a "Controversial Maverick", but
anyone who reads RP's positions would find themselves compelled to read up more
on the guy online.

I call it the "Ron Paul effect". There's no way you can simply take a dismissive comment from Hannity and then surmise RP as just some "nutcase".

When I first saw Dr. Paul at the debates, my first reaction was "Holy sh!t! WHO IS THAT MAN?"

I think Ron Paul's message is good enough to withstand scrutiny in the MSM.

The Nov 5th issue of Time has alread been issued. It covered the news of the week of Oct 22- 28.

The RP Nov 5th story won't make Time magazine until the Nov 19th issue at the earliest.

What do you mean No Good?

If it makes the Nov 19th Issue, that means it's going to be on Newsstands across the country for Thanksgiving Weekend!!

Tons of travelers in airports or riding buses or whatever are likely to buy the mag just to have something to read... :D
