In another ridiculous federal court ruling, the New York state airline passenger's bill of rights is overturned by a federal appeals court. Apparently, state law doesn't apply once you board an airplane. If there's no federal statute for killing someone on a plane it seems that would be a good way to avoid prosecution, since state law does not apply.
