SPICER, Minn. (FOX 9) - Minnesota-based lawyer and online legal analyst Nick Rekieta is facing a drug charge in Kandiyohi County.

Rekieta was arrested Thursday along with his wife Kayla and a fellow online personality. Prosecutors filed charges against Rekieta and his wife on Friday for second-degree possession, child endangerment, and a gross misdemeanor firearm charge.

According to the charges, law enforcement attempted to execute a search warrant on May 23 at Rekieta’s home in Spicer and was greeted by a girl at the front door who would not let them inside.

After Rekieta refused to provide the door code, law enforcement used a door ram to get inside and found Kayla, Imholte, and four juveniles inside.

Law enforcement proceeded to search the master bedroom and bathroom, where they allegedly found a variety of drug paraphernalia, including three small baggies that tested positive for cocaine, eight green tablets that tested positive for Ketamine, and a digital scale, and several other items that tested positive for cocaine, charges claim.

Authorities also found a Sig Sauer AR with several magazines and loose ammunition underneath the bed, a spent shell casing on the bedroom floor, and located additional firearms and ammunition in the garage, according to court records.

Police took Rekieta and his wife Kayla into custody, and he told law enforcement that he and his wife stayed in the master bedroom, where law enforcement claimed to find most of the drug paraphernalia, but allegedly refused to answer questions about the cocaine, according to court records.

Before his arrest, some online users had raised concerns about Rekieta's health this week sharing a clip of him appearing to dose off during a stream.

Law enforcement noted Rekeita had several injuries to his arms at the time of his arrest. They described the injuries as sores that are common with controlled substance users, charges said.

Rekieta, who owns a law firm based in Spicer, Minn., saw his online following skyrocket during the pandemic, as he covered cases including Kyle Rittenhouse's trial and Johnny Depp's lawsuit against Amber Heard.

He has more than 150,000 followers on Twitter and nearly 450,000 subscribers on YouTube.

Rekieta and his wife are set to make their first court appearance on Friday morning.

This is the best video I've seen in a long time.

Was he already using drugs when he bought those guns?

Nobody here agrees with the Hunter Biden prosecutions, I think 100% of forum members, if on the jury, would vote not guilty. Definitely anybody who supports Trump would vote that way.

Like, was he using drugs while he bought the guns? Or like the night before? A week before? A month before? 6 months earlier? A year earlier? 5 years earlier? Does the question specify what defines what "currently using" or "addicted to" actually means?

When a question isn't well defined, you can't really prosecute somebody for "lying" about it, they were probably telling the truth.. unless you're in a democrat area, then apparently a prosecutor can convince those idiots of anything.

You may be right about members of this forum. But 90% of Trump voters would have voted guilty.

You're focusing too much on the details. Why are you attempting to distract from this case of an adult male using drugs in close proximity to young children?

I don't think anyone should dismiss this until they've seen minimum eight pictures of Rekieta's cock. Minimum. Then they can come to their own conclusions.

Everybody uses drugs in close proximity to children, except the Mormons.

I think it was proven he was actively using on the day he bought the gun.
But that's irrelevant.
Any Trump supporter wants him on the pedo and treason charges etc. and wants him found not guilty by reason of the 2ndA on the gun charges.
Drug users have 2ndA rights like everyone else.
Even if you insist that they are all felons they still have 2ndA rights, anyone still breathing and outside of prison has 2ndA rights.

I think he quit for 11 days, signed the paper, then went out later that day and scored a bag. So at the time he signed, he wasn't a using, or at minimum didn't believe he was, and didn't believe he was addicted, so he didn't lie. But the whole thing is BS. I seem to recall a few months ago the courts threw this all into question, not sure how that ended up playing out.

You're just all over the soap opera like a cheap suit.

But when it comes to the things that matter...

Why do the people who care more if famous people are having spats with their significant others than if their neighbor has enough to eat always go for Trump?

That is typical leftist libel.
People are concerned about this case because of very important issues about two tiered justice and weaponization of the law on top of 2ndA issues and the greater crimes of Hunter and the rest of the family.

Nobody has said anything about not being concerned about starving people, you just made that up.

Not credible.
We have no proof he quit for 11 days and even if he did it was premeditated to buy the gun and then go right out and feed his still running addiction. (which he would know was still running because he either was still feeding it and lying about the 11 days or was in withdrawal because 11 days is not long enough to be over it)

The only defense that can be made for him is that he had every right to lie to the feds because they had no right to condition gun rights on drug use in the first place.

That is typical leftist libel.

Then it would be more leftist hypocrisy, because leftists are just as into celebrity worship (and "we just have to put the right guy in charge" as "policy") as you two are.

People are concerned about this case because...

I wasn't talking about "people", I was talking about dannno. And I wasn't talking about why anyone would be interested in the case, I was wondering why he seems completely disinterested in the case and interested only in what's running around the bloodstream of some random internet stranger.

How did I fail to make that obvious? Or do you just never read what triggers you, the way leftists get triggered by things they can't comprehend?

More completely fantastical libel.

More total nonsense.

You lied about Trump supporters in general and you are lying by just decreeing what is going on in Dannno's mind.
