News Roundup

Only 2%? Oh well, he still has a long time to get his name out there some more. I'd imagine his commercials would be great if they put a little effort in them, they could basically take them right off YouTube and edit them a little. Also, Does anyone know how much of Schiff's own money will go into the campaign, if any at all?

I remember him saying in the past he would put about 2 million of his own $ in.

Oh that's good. I'm sure that's more than any of the other republican candidates will be able to pony up, besides McMahon of course.

Yeah I'm hearing rumors Mcmahon could potentially put in 10 million, which worries me.

Not to mention the fact that they'll have campaign ads plastered all over wrestling events. Anyway, I'm pretty sure that if Schiff started rising rapidly in the polls he would put some more in and he'd get a lot more in donations. It should be a really interesting race.

My easy idea to get some easy press against McMahon is come out with endorsements from Kane and Jesse Ventura.

I think a great guy to help out with ads would be Bill Huntsman; he did an awesome ad for indie Chris Daggett running for governor in New Jersey- and Daggett has been relatively shooting up in the polls.

That's a great idea about Kane and Ventura! You should definitely let Peter Schiff know about that, that would be great.

Yeah, I saw that Daggett commercial on television (NYC) pretty cool.

Ugh  I hate how these blogs don't post the Peter Schiff was Right video. It has to be intentional. Take the liberal TPM one. If they saw the video they wouldn't have ridiculously asinine comments like this:

Absolutely amazing, it is, at the orthodoxy of these free-market loons.

We are just a few short months away from what was the largest financial collapse the world has ever seen because there were no regulators over big corps and because the free market was allowed to run wild with bubble economies.

Yet they're gonna run candidates based on the exact same formula that got us into this mess???

Peter Schiff was Right when "conservatives" like Art Laffer and Ben Stein scoffed at him. Peter Schiff was right when Keynesians like Mike Norman literally laughed at him.

With Mcmahon in the race, she becomes the carnival candidate and allows Peter to be treated and viewed as a very serious candidate.... I hope.
