"New data raises the possibility that the US could be moving towards recession."

This is the sub headline on Yahoo Finances top story. You have got to be fucking kidding me. They still are claiming we are not in a recession?

I think they feel it's ok to say we're in a recession now because 1) it's pretty effin obvious, and 2) Greenspan admitted it the other day.

He finally admitted it, huh? Once Great Depression 2.0 sets in, how long will it be before they admit it's a depression?

If I remember correctly, in the first Great Depression the government didn't admit the country was in a depression until 1932.

Well... as Gomer Pile would say, "Surprise Surprise!"

The Propaganda Machine has been working OVERTIME for the past 6 quarters.

These clowns aren't even including true INFLATIONARY numbers into the mix of WAGES, EARNINGS, LOSSES, & SALES.

There are a ton of timed layoffs (new term 'BUYOUTS') over the next 12 months, that's not in the mix either.... BUT BUT, Government at ALL levels are hiring more and more... closing in on 50% of the working population as producing jobs decline (Double Whammy!)!

Can you say ROMAN EMPIRE?

One commentator said he didn't want to use the "R" word, he thinks instead we're in a slow economic recovery. :D

IF you look at past recessions we never had two consecutive months of negative GDP (which is the textbook definition of recession).

I think they use that definition to try to keep us calm and say technically we aren't in a recession. Eventually after this is all said and done they will come out and say this was a recession.
