I just read my local newspaper today and it says that Nancy Pelosi is going to be in Youngstown this Friday for a Fundraiser.

How should I take advantage of this golden opportunity to promote Ron Paul and put pressure on Pelosi?

I'd love to have a sit down meeting with her a republican to work to stop this war. They just don't have the will to do it, and are as corrupt as Bush and Cheney

Put pressure on her sure, hold her accountable yes but shuving RP in her face wont accomplish much except make you look like a crazy. You could nicely ask her qws...tell her how you feel and quitely pass out literature to folks there or discuss Paul but dont go ape on her...

Talk about the war. Ask why our democrat representatives keep funding the war, after america clearly voted them into power in 2006 to stop the war. Tell people about Ron Paul, tell them, he is the only onw who will stop the war. Ask why the senate has declared the military of a sovereign nation (Iran) a terrorist organization.

I don't want to engage her directly, I was thinking something of a sign wave but it is on short notice and my meetup group is a fledgeling one so I need CREATIVE ideas that will be successful with a small handful of people (2-5).

Edit: I think promoting Paul IS putting pressure on Pelosi, just like the sign wave at the Hillary fundraiser, it is saying that "wherever you go, we will be there, we are EVERYWHERE"

Does anybody have any excess signs or something that they could donate to my meetup??? I haven't gotten around to ordering any yet because we've only met once... I can't pass this up though, it's at a little restaurant called McMenamy's in Niles, OH and all of the valley Dems will probably be there along with a bunch of citizens.

Also, anybody in the local area (Mahoning, Trumbull, Mercer, Columbiana counties) are welcome to join us!

I would say just get together with your local meetup group and have a large Ron Paul presence there. Please though, be respectful at all times.
