Need a programmer

I'm trying to make a website right now in blog form (wordpress) and I don't know a damn thing about the FTP protocol.

Nothings working. I'm getting aggravated. I had the perfect plan in mind. My tolerance is running very low. If anyone would be kind enough to help me on a few things, this could easily influence the Revolution's long term growth.

However, if no one here will lend a hand, then forget it. I've had enough..

whats your specific problem? installing wordpress or using wordpress?

I've already installed it, but it needs upgraded which requires manual FTP and in order to get plugins i need to use FTP as well. The whole system is horseshit and nowhere is there a simple explanation.

do you know how to FTP? who is your host? what is the site?

I know very little of FTP, I do have filezilla downloaded and can transfer some stuff, but I need to know exactly where each thing is going. My host is bluehost, the site is www.smartrebel.com

the plugins go in the /wp-content/plugins folder. you might have to browse your way into public_hml to see wp-content.

as far as upgrading worpress, you dont really need to. You are using Wordpress 2.3.2 and the only update is to 2.3.3 which isnt as big deal... no major fixes or patches. I wouldnt worry about it if I were you.
