God I smell a libel suit on this one. This kid spewed everything he could think of in a jealous rant against Ron, after finding out about the fundraising.

Ron Paul has nothing to do with DK who I agree IS a nut.

But worse, this little wimp has called you all 'intellectual midgets'.

I have it on good knowledge that this bogus website is phony, and just shilling for "Homeland Security". There are no such persons as these dumb blondes that are supposed to look like real 'mothers' on this website. They simply do not exist. It is a ploy to make real women feel scared and fall for the war-mongering neocon program

Have at him.

You might want to re-read this again.... The writer did not state any of the things you are whinging about.

Republicans, meanwhile, have ganged up on Ron Paul with alacrity. Rudy Giuliani has scored points with the Republican base by trashing Paul in the debates. Paul’s supporters are routinely castigated as extremists and intellectual midgets.

This article is nothing, just let it pass....

I don't think that article smeared Ron Paul the slightest bit. I think you have misread it. A smear would be saying that he honors a terrorist. The AP wire story all but suggested that, as did the Rolling Stone blog.

We do not want to give bad articles about Ron Paul any publicity - so why post it here?

Look at the forum title. We can't let attacks go unanswered (this one really isn't an attack.) You seem new so you may not understand how much attention we get when we slam these media outlets with complaint letters. There is no such thing as bad publicity, only opportunity.

Wow, I was all set to read a full-on smear and have a lively debate. This is really pretty tame, and at times borderline respectful.

If the goal was a Ron Paul smear I give them a D-.

However, if the website is, as you suggest, government funded I'm much more offended by that than I am about the content of this article. I agree about your commentary on the site - it is blatant fearmongering, and I find it pretty creepy that anyone would devote the time and resources to make a site so devoted to propagating fear.

Also the "dumb blond" reference likely doesn't further the cause a whole lot.
