Most cops have a "drop gun"

I have discovered that allegedly most (or at least a lot of) inner-city cops have a "drop gun".

When a new cop goes on duty and finds one of their first thugs on the street with a gun they will often take that gun from the thug, and hide it. They tell the thug they are getting a "free pass" the one time but they still confiscate the gun.

The gun does not get turned in but yet rides with the cop hidden in the cruiser in case the cop accidentally shoots an innocent victim. That way the gun can then be planted on the victim so that during the investigation the officer's claim that he saw a gun can be verified.


That's very unnerving to think about....

I doubt most of them actively distribute meth, but I wouldn't be surprised if most had some around in case they needed to plant it for whatever reason.

It's really sad to see how little we can trust a lot of our law enforcement

When they raid a business or an activist and confiscate the computer, they will, if they can't make a case or their case is too shakey, put kiddy porn on the computer. Then they charge the target with that instead.

That's a good reason to encrypt entire hard drives with REAL passwords that cannot be brute-force cracked. They can't crack it, they can't plant digital drop guns on it.

Cops are people too, and IIRC, we had one get busted for it in my area a while back, might have been the next town or two over.

And they do plant shit on people around here, a buddy of mine from high school still has a felony record for pot possession from like '95, we were all chillin' and gathered up enough to get a bag. He was pulled over on the way to the dude's house...i.e. he hadn't picked it up yet...they planted a bag with 21 grams in it...just over the 20 gram FELONY limit. How convenient.

After my last DUI, I had a cop tell me how easy it is to "rig" a breathalyzer, it they thought the person might be at legal limit, to guarantee they would fail it.
