More shouts of “kill him” directed at Obama during feisty Palin rally

It’s another Palin crowd that got out of hand today at a huge rally in Scranton, PA. Lots of anti-Obama chants and booing from the crowd, but the most distressing moment came when an especially, er, “pumped-up” McCain-Palin fan went over the edge.

There were no incendiary outbursts from the crowd about Mr. Obama during Mrs. Palin’s speech, as there have been during other recent McCain-Palin rallies.

However, someone did shout out, “Kill him!” during Republican congressional candidate Chris Hackett’s remarks before Mrs. Palin took the stage.

The outburst came during a round of booing from the crowd after Mr. Hackett said Mr. Obama should come to Pennsylvania and learn what the state’s values are.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Obama campaign sent someone to shout that to get a headline in an effort to galvanize his own people that they need to get out and vote.

I am indeed thinking that these are agent provocateurs. It weakens the McCain campaign, because the moderates think "Wow! I agree with some of his ideas but his supporters are scary."

Where as the Obama people are all shiny happy people.

I live in a red state and I talk to these types every day. They are all too real. It looks like they just bussed a bunch of people from any Wal Mart parking lot to these rallies.

They don't like McCain anyway. Some of these people were even interested in Paul's message at one time. I know, I have a few acquaintences who think like this. But even if he ran third party they would have abandoned him as soon as Palin appeared. I know this as sure as I am sitting here. RP has an intellectual arguement and that will never win out over this trash.

She is appealing to their basest nature much like an SS officer whipping up the crowds for Adolph himself.

These aren't limbaugh listeners. These would be limbaugh haters. These are white democratic liberals. These are the same people that support abortion because they believe the blacks will overrun the the country if they have too many babies. They feel truely supperior to blacks and therefore they know know exactly how to solve the black peoples problems in a very condescending way. You seem to have an intimate understanding of where I'm coming from in this... I support the liberalism for it's social value, individual freedoms... think of the insult to someone like me, who doesn't support those entitlement programs, to actually have to defend a "liberal" for anything other than his stance of privacy issues, religious freedom, or foreign policy.


It amazes me really. I've been fighting this fight for a long time... The people against Obama the strongest for instance, will most likely be the one's that benefit the most from his entitlement program plans, things that even I, as a self identified liberal, don't support fully.
