Holy smokes! I can't keep track of our zooming fundraising total, but I am noting all those wonderful names!

Whenever I can, I go online to check the latest score. What a boost!

It means that this Revolution has legs--very strong, very fast moving legs, and that the establishment, from the Fed to the tax police to the military-industrial complex, is right to worry.

Was $1 million too conservative a figure? Make my day, impress the media, and set all our opponents back on their heels, by shooting past $1 million before Midnight on Sunday, September 30! How high can we go? $1.5 million?

Donate here. https://www.ronpaul2008.com/donate/ And from the bottom of my heart: Thank you!

Sincerely,

Ron

The thing is, many of us are seriously broke ( I know I am )

500,000 was easy, 1 mil is a challenge, but 1.5 mil is no way. lol

I'm maxed out on my donation and now broke too. So, even if I could give more, no more moolah.

We need to get some new (rich) blood. :)

I gave 200 today, and I've got just enough left to cover my weekly expenses. It's unfortunate that we aren't all richer then God, like the supporters for the 'top tier' are. Otherwise, the man would have a ridiculous fund raising total rivaling GW in the '00/'04 elections.

BAH....lets go 1.5 Mil here we come baby!....Woooooooooooo

oh wait my wife wont let me donate more....nevermind.

For those in that situtation, you can keep posting links to his home page at internet forums, telling Paul supporters to get in on the 3rd quarter while they still can. That's what I have been doing.

I think we'll make it to about 1.2 million when all is said and done. I hope so anyway.

im broke and jobless :( lol i quit my job :D!

You're young. Get your father to donate for both himself and your mother. :)

Plus, you could go hand out some of your flyers tomorrow at a mosque or two. That might help.

and there is the myspace mailing effort....I've emailed 400 people this week. My fingers hurt.

He didn't write this either, I can tell.

I don't like it when he has his name on things he didn't right :x.

Call your friends and ask them to donate $10 or $20 just to humor you.

I've got one friend who was so excited to hear about the $500k busted goal that he decided he'll send in some money too. I'm going to divert him from the money order route to one of those single denomination MasterCard gift cards so he can see his name in lights instantaneously. He doesn't have a computer and doesn't know anything about the internet so I'll have to walk him through it tomorrow.

Quick Question: If I overdraw my Bank of America checking account, I get a $20 fine. So far I've only tested that theory by accident, going a few bucks over. But if I "accidentally" overdrew it by 1k, would I get the same $20 fine, or something more?

We need to dig deep. I'm maxed out and not raking in the dough. Think of it as an investment: who much more money will we have when we cut government spending and get rid of the individual income tax? Pony up! :)

Yes Marshall it likely would be the same $20 fine, but they often have stipulations that any overages must be paid off within a 20-30 day grace period, or be subject to additional overage fees and potentially an interest rate being applied as if it was a loan. The terms generally would not be favorable. Borrow the money from a credit card or unsecured bank loan or something else, but I would not recommend trying to use your overdraft protection. They might not even authorize it, it depends on the amount and your history with the bank and your credit history.

If it's like my bank, they will "kindly" let you overdraw up to a certain point (mine is $400) for a fee (the $20). Basically, it keeps the person you wrote the check to from knowing it bounced. If you go over that $400, the bank won't cover you anymore, your check will bounce, and you're SOL.
