Many congressman visit Iraq, some repeatedly. I just heard a piece on NPR yesterday about Christopher Shays, Republican from CT, who voted in favor of the war but is now against it. This he has decided after acknowledging that the administration lied about the reasons we should attack and after his multiple trips to the country.

Now, I have a question, because in all seriousness, I need to know. I wholeheartedly intend to vote for Ron Paul in November whether I have to write him in or not. I have family and friends who wonder who they should vote for. Some say McCain is more likely to choose more conservative judges and will be somewhat more protective of the Second Amendment. Though I would not classify him as a conservative, he does seem to be somewhat less likely to tax us to death and approve of large budgets full of socialistic programs and mandates.

Now, for those people who won't write in a candidate, why shouldn't they vote for McCain if Ron Paul doesn't win the Republican nomination. Why is he worse than a Democrat?
