4/7/2008 Senator John McCain was confronted by Cody D. Deeds of WeAreChange Ohio in Cincinnati about the use of torture by the U.S. military and the need for a new 9/11 investigation.

McCain has supported President Bush's veto of a bill banning torture, and has defended the government's account of 9/11 to the hilt. True to form, McCain ignored the question about torture and emphatically said that he will not support a new investigation into 9/11.

There's two angles to it, as I see it. (Note: this is a total out-of-my-ass speculation here)

1) He was never tortured in Hanoi, but was waited hand and feet by whores while he sung. Thus, he never knew torture and has no problem supporting it.

2) He was tortured and harbor intense anger that he wants to take out on brown people with towels around their head so he supported torture.

Which is it?

I hate to say it, but the hysterical manner in which 9/11 truthers 'confront' public officials is counter productive to their cause. They need to shout less and listen a little more. Conflict to dialogue.

...
Let's start asking some real questions! Ask real questions!

I understand the frustration, but by making a big show you are instantly turning people off and tossing out any chance that they will listen to you.
