Maryland has always been a state where the Balti-morons and DC suburbanites control the people in the rural areas of the state (mainly western MD and the Eastern Shore). Remember Ellen Sauerbrey?

When I lived on the Eastern Shore, I used to advocate that Delmarva should be its own state.

I remember Ellen very well as my Father served as her Campaign Manager during one of her campaigns. I agree that Delmarva should be it's own state and it has been brought up before the Legislature several times and is quickly shot down because they think we are inbred morons but they sure do love our tax revenue.
