How many members currently or have recently (within 3 months) used marijuana for any reason?

Nope. Not for some time.
I have in the past, and would like to see it legalized for many reasons. Farming being the foremost as it is a useful plant for much more than it's recreational uses.

I do not consider use "abuse" and I do not even use. It's a god damned plant. Let people smoke catnip if they want to, and punish them if and when they actually commit a crime against someone else. Otherwise leave them the hell alone mr. Barr.

I smoke daily, and it was in fact smoking that brought me to the R3volution. I was high as a kite on night looking on the Cannabus Culture website or Pot-TV and when they first mentioned RP as a candidate who supported ending the drug war that was a Republican I was stoked. Looked more into him and here I am now. Hell, I would say ganja is like the red pill which starts one on the path of realizing, hey the government lied to me, what else are they lying about!

I'm a hippie who enjoys nothing more than lighting up a bowl and tossing on some Grateful Dead. That said, everything in moderation!

its my cure-all

for me it cures my insomnia, knee and shoulder pain, migraines and tension headaches, stuffed up nose, and most of all my boredom.

:D

I've admitted on local television that I've smoked pot, while interviewing a politician who was arguing that marijuana users should be locked up.

That kinda made him lose his momentum -- "Do you think I belong in prison, sir?:
;)

That guy absolutely ceased from his rational approach to politics when this was brought up: fucking pathetic.

I don't smoke for personal reasons (I don't drink either - it's just a moral philosophy of mine), but I definitely know some members of my family, and my friends that do.

Good for them. Kudos to you guys :D
