Lloyd's bank bailout

Lloyd's bank? Looks like you posted the same link twice

C,

I agree.

The more I think about my first post, if they cut off avoiding margin calls, this market is going to tank big time. Wait until GS people taking loans, from GS to avoid margin calls. get hit big time.

UGLY, and I hope they go broke. All of a sudden, they can not pull their games to save their butts.

C,

Google News on debt downgrades. They are hitting all over the wires tonight. I just went through 5 pages. Too many to list.

More and more, will have a hard time to refinance any major debt. At some point we are going to hit the tipping point no matter what the idiots try and do.

We know they also have 100 Billion under review for downgrade.

I don't think it is going to be long. My opinion.

Lloyds: UK GOV -75% as part of a program to guarantee up to 260 billion pounds of toxic assets

So I presume this will be another FED loan, disguised as an Currency Exchange, to the UK Empire courtesy of the American Taxpayers? Does the Bank of England even have $377 BILLION? Or is this just another Fiat Government PONZI scheme? Sheesh, the CESS POOL is overflowing with these FIAT "Central Banks"

H,

I hear you.

Now just picking on our local news, that the owners of apartment buildings are now starting to not pay the bills. If this escalates, all the renters are going to be in big trouble.

Of course it will escalate

H,

I hear you.

Now just picking on our local news, that the owners of apartment buildings are now starting to not pay the bills. If this escalates, all the renters are going to be in big trouble.

People are sick of it, sick of ever increasing property taxes, deadbeat tenants it takes a year to boot etc. Anyone underwater is going to "just walkaway, walkaway, walkaway" like the song says.

Having had this happen to us three times, when we were younger, it is no fun and expensive when you are paying your bills on time.

I saw more on the news. 540 families now have to find a new place, pack and move this weekend. Plus, likely loosing their deposit and some having to rent a van to move.

I know about the dead beat tenants but there are ways to check people out before you rent to them.

We should have checked out two attorney's and a navy couple before we rented houses from them. They even tried to repo our car thinking it was the Navy couples car. Luckily I saw them and stopped that. There was no crisis going on at that time 47 years ago.
