Dumb Republicans should have listened to Schiff. They thought they could win because she had money. I'm almost happy that she is losing. I just hope she won't try to run again in 2012 against Schiff.

I live in CT and can't stand Blumenthal. I don't care much for McMahon (obviously I wanted Peter Schiff) but Blumenthal has a strong authoritarian streak. He loves to ban things to protect us from ourselves like strong energy drinks and fireworks, just to name a few. We do not need someone like this in the Senate.

If Schiff were the nominee, Blumy would be leading 65-25. Just a reality check. The only way Schiff could win is to try to get a plurality in the three-way in 2012. CT is just too liberal/authoritarian and Blumy is just too popular.

Of course, I'm not sure how wealthy Schiff is. Maybe if he had dumped $40 million in, he would have similar numbers to McMahon.

For the record:

Obama is in CT today campaigning for Blumy. Even in this heated, anti-Obama, anti-democrat, anti-federal government election cycle, it was determined that Obama is a positive for Blumy in CT.

If Obama is still a positive in CT in a year like this, Schiff doesn't stand a chance in hell.
