Hey guys,
we've had a great group of people who have been working very hard to get B.J.'s money bomb promoted. We've had this forum covered extensively, and we've had posts made on Campaign for Liberty, LRC, and Daily Paul. We've also gotten the top-150 largest Ron Paul Meetup group organizers emailed with requests to send out messages to their members requesting them to donate to B.J. on Sunday. I've gotten confirmations that the New York, Boston, Irvine, CA, and St. Petersburg/Clearwater Meetups have been emailed. Additionally, we've messaged every Ron Paul Facebook group with requests to notify their members about the money bomb. While we have 146 pledges, we have well over 1,000 unique viewers, and clearly not everyone who donates will have pledged.
But we have one last charge that we need to make. There are still 50 Meetup organizers who need to be messaged. Additionally, I have identified about 91 non-Ron Paul groups, but nonetheless potentially friendly groups, that we should contact to persuade them to notify their members. The groups include libertarian, Constitutionalist, pro-free market, pro-civil liberties, pro-gun, pro-pot, anti-tax, anti-NAU, anti-Real ID, and anti-drug war groups. I'm going to work on some of them tonight myself, but I would really appreciate the help of about 5 or 6 people on this. All you have to do is type up a form message and change around the name. The basic outline of the message should include:
* Who you are (you're name, the fact you're a volunteer for the campaign)
* A brief spiel about B.J. (point them to his website, tell them he supports their position on the particular issue/topic)
* Tell them about the money bomb (link them to it, say it was organized by supporters)
* Tell them the goal of raising $80,000
* Ask them to please send out a message to members notifying them of the money bomb and asking them to pledge and/or donate
If you would like to help with this, and PLEASE do, contact me at [email protected] this morning, and I will give you a list of groups to contact. Thanks abunch!
