hello everyone.. I have not been on the forum much the last week because I have had so much to do.. I planted all day from 10:00 am to 8:00 PM for about 6 days straight..

It has been hard work but I have enjoyed it greatly.

so this week.. all my blackberry and raspberry plants were ready to plant.

here is what I planted:

24 black wild Raspberries

24 Chester Blackberries

8 Canby Red Raspberries

16 Reveille Red Raspberries

6 Black Satin Blackberries

12 Triple Crown Blackberries

4 Wye Berries.. this berry is interesting it is a cross between a blackberry and raspberry.. it has the body of a blackberry but is red.

Holy Berry Bushes, Batman! :D

I bet you will have a huge crop. Are you planning on doing a lot of canning?

We are still 6 weeks away from planting, but you have inspired me to try some berries this year.

I got almost every single one of these plants on ebay..

all the blackberry and raspberry plants are 4+ years old and they were very cheap..

I am currently designing a greenhouse so until it is finished they will remain as is..
I've never seen brambles or trees grown in a greenhouse. I'm guessing you have a reason for doing it that way? I have often considered pollution or fallout exposure and the need to protect my food. A greenhouse would be a good way to do that.

well I am doing the green house because I am growing some sub-tropical fruits and also so my plants wont have to lose their leaves and go dormant for winter.

once its built I will begin planting vegetables and herbs..
