Kotaku: Heel Rogue Ron Paul Supporters

I came across this blog entry a couple of days ago which was posted on a video game blog that I frequent daily.

This "guest editor" claims that he has been receiving harassing emails and phone calls from Ron Paul supporters because he chose not to include Ron Paul in a flash video game (Pong) that was featured on CNN's website and utilized presidential candidates. He goes on to imply that Ron Paul and his supports are basically annoying.

It should be noted that this website is affiliated with Wonkette.com and is a component of Gawker Media.

I used to frequent the site when I was following videogame culture more. I got the sense the editor doesn't really know much about Ron Paul, so was genuinely a bit confused and just trying to put the usual Kotaku humorous spin on things. Some of the comments people wrote about the article are pretty funny though.

My fav: "Who the hell is ron paul? And why do I keep seeing idiots wearing his signs?"

Most of the haters don't even bother to research him. They just notice that a lot of people are outspoken when advocating him. My brother was like this when I told him about Ron Paul, but he refused to even look at a Youtube video. I finally "persuaded" his vote by agreeing to buy him a meal, lol.

They have no clue that the reason people are so outspoken is because we are so alarmed by what is happening to America and that Ron Paul is the most viable option we have to combat it.
