Well, we now know that even Ron Paul supporters are not all that astute. Okay, I'll explain it to you:

This ad is the classic "throw a bunch of shit against the wall and hope something sticks" strategy (BTW, this "story" has been out for months, its hardly new).

The idea of this particular version of crap throwing is to find a bad person that Obama was in some way associated with (in this case, Obama and the college professor in the ad were both on the board of an organization at the same time) and play the "guilt by association" card.

Its kind of the same as kind of tactic as finding a picture of McCain embracing a Vietnamese Communist Party official, and accusing him of being a communist sympathizer or a "Manchurian Candidate" who was sent by the Communists to take over the USA. BTW, there is a group already doing this- but they don't have national ads- yet.

Its idiotic, and you should be ashamed of yourself for falling for it (in either case).

You have a brain. Use it.

McCain and Obama are both appallingly bad candidates, but falling for this sort of garbage just makes you look stupid (and makes the rest of us look stupid by association).

You want to attack Obama (or McCain), attack him on the issues- there is plenty to dislike about both of them. Otherwise, you look like a 2-year old throwing feces against the wall.

Ayers is indeed a terrorist. From Wikiepdia:

Later in 1969, Ayers participated in planting a bomb at a statue dedicated to police casualties in the 1886 Haymarket Riot.[7] The blast broke almost 100 windows and blew pieces of the statue onto the nearby Kennedy Expressway.[8] The statue was rebuilt and unveiled on May 4, 1970, and blown up again by Weatherman on October 6, 1970.[9][8] Built yet again, the city posted a 24-hour police guard to prevent another blast.[8] He participated in the Days of Rage riot in Chicago that October, and in December was at the "War Council" meeting in Flint, Michigan.

In 2001, the New York Times reported that Ayers admitted [1] in his biography that "he participated in the bombings of New York City Police Headquarters in 1970, of the Capitol building in 1971, the Pentagon in 1972."

It shouldn't come as any great surprise that the socialists use violence to force their agenda.
