Looks like Nevada will be a major boost to RP! And to democracy in general :)

My primary interest is you people: the grassroots. I am also studying RP's ideology (I ordered 2 copies of A Foreign Policy of Freedom from his campaign site today, a relative of mine is travelling to India). But no doubt he's one of the bravest, most honest men I've ever seen. He makes America look good :)

Keep going! I'll sign off (it's 3 a.m. here). Looking forward to lots of NV YouTubes soon.

Pramod,

My friend Shyam, from work shares your same views.... He also mentioned there has been a significant slowing of student visas from India... Geee, couldn't have anything to do with the fact that the dollar has lost significant value to the Rupee.

It's likely that many techies have decided not to do an MS in US because there are IT jobs aplenty here. But trust me, India has soooo many young people that you won't notice a dip in the no. of applicants any time soon.

A weak dollar would actually make studying in USA more affordable to Indians. A weak dollar also hits margins here and makes India less attractive for labour arbitrage.

thank you so much for your encouraging words. nothing lifts me up more than to see people from other countries rallying to the cause! the people of the world must overthrow their bureaucrats so every man and woman can be a master of their own destiny!!

You are welcome. I should say Freedom is popular. Democracy is beautiful.

Thank you. That book is worth more than it's weight in gold... well maybe not, but still.

Democracy is a transitional form of government before it moves to dictatorship.

What people need is a Republic, a nation of laws which protect the individual from the majority. These terms are important as is the distinction. Let's use the right terms and that way people can learn about government.

You make a good point. Trust me, you people are so lucky with that Constitution of yours. India set off on a Socialist path after Independence in 1947 with none too great results on the economic side. The politicos can vote on anything basically - individual and property rights be damned :(

I wonder what RP's impact on India is going to be. There is going to be some. Maybe I'll go back to India some day and spread his message.

On the other hand, a weak dollar makes an India based call center less competitive...

There is definitely pros and cons.
