AAARRRRGGGHHH!!!!

I am really pissed off and if my posting comes across as particularly out of character or short-tempered I (sort-of) apologize. I'm sick and tired of people with no ideas raining on the parades of those who are at least thinking of something, ANYTHING.

We are at a pivotal point in time and space and the last thing we need right now is to cut each other down.

Anyway, if I'm rude or swear please don't hold it against me. Unless I was rude to you-- in which case you probably deserve it.

Thanks. My ignore list is growing by the minute.

I don't know what's better-- saving or buying necessities while my dollar's still worth something.

I intend to call my congressretards tomorrow but I know it won't matter. At least I know I did and didn't sit silent when I should have said something. I wish I had better ideas. I wish there was something really tangible I could do right now that would wake people the fuck up.

Well, I woke up still pissed off about the situation. At 8am I called my senators and representative. I'm working on getting my friend's state senate campaign together... sending emails to everyone I know + Glenn Beck. Called the local (neo)conservative rado show, plugged my buddy and ranted a little bit about the bailouts. I'm getting my armband ready for when I go out later...

What else can I do?

I'm angry. I've been angry for awhile.

I'm not worried either. Big Brother is too big now to fail... (haha)

I look around and see this country so divided... and to the credit of the Democrats, (not the liberals), they were right. By now, all of you should understand the situation.

I'm going to place the blame on Republican Administration. This was avoidable, with a stronger regulation of these credit lines.

I know none of you want to hear that, or even understand that, but it doesn't matter now, because we have total socialization of the financial market...

If liberals were socialists, as so many of you continue to claim, then we would be happy about this..

It's obvious that neither Democrats in Congress, or the liberals, are at all... It has always been about saving the most of the taxpayers, and we are, relatively speaking, screwed as a country.

This is the Republican's fault. Period. I just have to get that off my chest... it's infuriating and it's an epic "I told you so" on the part of many intelligent people.

*************

So, I get to Kade's advice, and I would appreciate it if you would hear me out.

I'm a realist. This guns and ammo nonsense is ridiculous. The financial paradigm in America has changed, there is no doubt about it... to those who claim to have called, nobody was that close, with a few exceptions (notably the Economist in Europe).

This country will be fine, albeit, depending on the next version of leadership, an equally different paradigm. We are going to have more propagandized socializing of businesses. People will expect the government to babysit and prevent business corruption. The role of government again has changed, for the worst. We are a country who, under the guise

Conservatives have cried wolf about socialization for some time now, and ironically, they are the one's who ultimately implement it...

This is worse than the New Deal. This is worse than most of Europe's markets... we have utterly socialized our financial market...

Do you realize that there is no American Investment Bank left? I'm serious.. look it up.

So what do you do?

What I have been saying the whole time.

Get the liberals.

Get them now.

Don't even think twice about it.

Drop the social conservatism nonsense. Promote American Privacy, and work towards spreading the message of limiting the government.

Is this getting through your head?

We need to get government out of businesses, and we need to do it cleanly. No more tax shields intact while subsidized with tax payers. If a regulation is necessary (I believe some are, sorry) then make sure it applied to all businesses in that market.

The banks are trusts. Absolute monopolies. You can't do anything about it... but you can tap the anti-corporate sentiment of the liberals, (30%+ of the population).

Do it.

As far as you and your family are concerned, you are going to be fine. This is about the future, and I don't have these sorts of promises for the future. Get a secure job, put some money in some bonds and foreign markets, and relax.

I beg of you to get your stuffy retarded noses out of people's lives, and pay attention to what the government is doing. End the police state, end corruption, end corporate cronyism, and secure the rights and liberties of the people, and our country will return to dominance economically. Change your attitude, and we succeed.

This is what I'm fighting for, too. It doesn't matter if I choose to align myself with conservatives (or you with liberals) as much as it does to just spread the message. The true conservatives, like the true liberals, are not the problem. The neo-cons swing us towards fascism, the neo-libs towards socialism. I don't support either. You know I think the true liberals are our allies, Kade. I don't know why you keep equating the conservatives with neo-cons.

One of my very liberal Senators, Bernie Sanders, came out with a statement that the bailouts must not cost the middle class. Rather the people who make more than $500k per year should foot the bill. I can't wrap my head around this position. He also blames the current administration-- as do I on many levels-- but rather than let these banks just die he favors the wealthy paying for the mistakes of others. Part of the problem is the lack of responsibility that is so prevalent in our society and the easiest thing in the world to say to a family like mine, making $60k per year, is that the have-mores should pick up the tab.

I fail to see how your assertions solve anything. What I gather from what you said is that conservatives are to blame and the answer is to align myself with liberals. Well, they allowed this administration to run amok. They could have done any number of things in the last 2 years with their majority yet they did nothing.

I don't have money to invest in foreign markets or even buy precious metals. I have money to stock up on food for my family and my pets while my dollar is still worth something. The guns and ammo option is definitely within my grasp, intellectually and emotionally, though I am a pacifist and adhere to the words of Jesus that "those who live by the sword die by the sword."
