Just an opinion about the June 21st date...

Well, I just wanted to throw this out there after thinking about it for the past week:

People are growing restless, losing interest, etc. about the march this summer. (yes, I do realize there is a march on April 15th. They have their act together; therefore I don't want input about that one) Now, my observation from being on myspace and a couple of other places...people are already promoting the heck out of June 21st. I think alot of people are unaware of the fact that you need a permit or even how the permit situation works. With that said...do you think June 21st should just be the date written in stone regardless of the permit situation? I have seen suggestions on the forum that say, "Let's just show up. We have a right to assemble." I'm starting to think along these lines now, because quite frankly this is a bunch of garbage (waiting on permits). What if everyone just shows up as individuals? Precious time is being wasted on these permits. It has almost been one month. I guess what I want to know is: will you show up on the 21st regardless of there being a permit or not? Everyone thinks it's on the 21st...so why not, right? Opinions please?

Also...I'm making another promotional march vid...do I put the 6.21.08 date in there? I was going to hold off until the permits were cemented...but now; I'm thinking...not so much.

You should make sure that you are able to get the correct permits first. If not be prepared to be broken up and if you resist sent to jail. We did a sign wave here in Houston on the 59 bridges. The meetup organizer had permits to film a sign wave or so called demonstration but did not have the permits FOR a demonstration. The police came told us to leave or he was going to arrest the guy with the permit etc. So we all left. Something to think about.
