Judge Rules Patriot Act unconstitutional (CNN-video)

What has been obvious to many is now recognized.
I wonder what took so long.

Any legislation found to be unconstitutional should be voided upon pronouncement of it's unconstitutionality.

If I had not read this thread, I would not have know about this. Great for the Judge.

I did a google for news on this and only could find a few items on blogs but no MSM reporting that I could find. Doesn't that seem just a bit strange on such important news?

Great pick up on the you tube.

Strange to say the least. Obviously if this news is to get out, it's up to us to spread it!

Please supply your meetups with a link, folks. This is important!

Under Louisiana state law, if any Louisiana district court rules a law unconstitutional, that law no longer effects that courts district until ruled on by a higher court.
For instance, Louisiana's drinking age had been 18 until clinton extorted our state government by threatened to take away our own highway funds if we didn't change it to 21.
So our state legs bowed to the elected king of this empire and changed the law.
The judge over my parish ruled it unconstitutional because 18 year olds were considered adults by law, were tried as adults, could be drafted, etc.
So for a couple more months Evangeline parish was still 18.
The Louisiana Supreme court under pressure from the state gov, over
-ruled our judge.
We still have this nation-wide discrimination against 18-20 year olds thanks to the fed gov who thinks one law fits all works better than competition of ideas among the 50 states.

That is the problem when our states allow the federal government to bribe them.
I remember when I was in the military, we had beer machines in the barracks. I couldn't believe my eyes. Just drop 2 quarters in the slot and select the kind of beer you wanted. It was great. I never saw anybody starting any kind of trouble from being drunk either. If anything, it kept people from going off base and making fools of themselves in the civilian world.

No, ehh.. Treasure Island, San Francisco, summer 1968... awaiting my ship to return to San Diego so I could join the crew.

In checking further I noticed that likewise.

That really brings into question, why there is no news showing up since that time. Most people could not find that without really searching.

How many questionable searches have been posted, on our threads since then, and people don't know about this ruling?
