John McCain's obvious defeat is starting to be clear to everyone else

Sounds good. Only thing is, while young people post on the internet, the rule of thumb is that old people actually vote.

Six months ago, I didn't think an A-Bomb could stop Obama. But the GOP is already putting dents in him. He isn't bulletproof, and he is actually a pretty weak candidate.

I'd still love to see McCain lose in the biggest landslide ever.

With 70+% of the people AGAINST the Iraq war, it's not really too hard to figure out.

But BOTH parties are making the war a non-issue in the election. Even the liberals are starting to talk about the success of the surge, and the danger than Iran poses.

Both sides are the same. It doesn't matter who wins.

it doesn't matter though

America thinks Obama is still the anti-war candidate

we'll see this at the first debate

You know, I don't care who wins the presidential election between the two realistic candidates. McCain and Obama both really suck in their own seperate ways. In November, I am voting for Bob Barr.

That said, it is definitely an intriguing thought to think of an Obama win. All political experts seem to be in firm agreement the GOP will lose a bunch of seats in the House of Representatives and like 3-6 seats in the U.S. Senate this year. Those inevitable losses, coupled with an Obama win, would render the neocons completely irrelevant for at least two years, and likely four. I love that thought. Plus the war in Iraq would probably end too.

Of course, then you get abortion-on-demand, amnesty for illegals, socialized healthcare, high taxes, more spending and a bigger federal government with all those new democrats and an Obama presidency. Sigh...

I think it's safe to say America is screwed. But I guess you get the government you deserve and the American people will vote one of these two idiots (McCain, Obama) in.

my wife is voting for the LP, she went to our gop convention, she saw the gop corruption first hand, she is writing a letter to the gop as well and i will post soon, its not a petition ,unless you guys want me to make it one;) peace love you all.

The politics of fear is a strong thing...expect the whitehouse, within several days of the presidential election, to release a report of a major terrorist plot against the U.S. Of course, it will turn out weeks later to be an unconfirmed hoax report, but it will be enough to sway all swing voters, and some democrats at the voting booth to go McCain.

Also, look for gas prices to drop significantly in weeks leading to election.

Yes...murdoch has said publicly that he believes Obama will win the election. He's probably going to shift the coverage accordingly.

He is VERY weak and probably Muslim..but he speaks well, and the MSM are making that one talent sound like the main thing for a winning candidate. It is unreal.
