Jim McTague of Barron's RUDE comment about Dr. Paul

On Fox Business, McTague was asked about HR 1207, he said "I don't think Ron Paul got 270 votes when he ran for president, even."

Then he said something like, "I know I'll hear from his supporters."

What a jerk that guy is.

Ron Paul received over a million votes in the primary, and he would have done a lot better except for douchebags like this guy who downplayed his campaign in the media.

Actually, he knows perfectly well Dr. Paul got significantly more votes than that, just as he knows perfectly well that any 270 people in this nation who could possibly afford to donate all the millions his campaign received wouldn't, because they have too much invested in the currenty oligarchy.

So why did he lie? Could he be purposely trying to belittle Paul and the movement? Anyone have another rational explanation?
