The only other show that I found better was Arnold Olean's Saturday night "Classic Jazz" on the now defunct WBQQ 99.3 out of Kennebunkport Maine.
Ray Smith ran this show out South Carolina and was broadcast on WCRB and later WGBH out of Boston.
WGBH dropped the archives for some reason, but they are linked through at this site.
At any rate, he plays some of the best jazz, swing, big band and Dixieland recorded from 1890 to about 1950, although he does play some modern recordings of old songs.
Enjoy.
