Ivermectin Sources?

Has there been an uptick in the incidence of parasitic worms?

No, but Ivermectin has been shown in studies to be effective against a variety of parasites, viruses, bacteria and even cancer.

It has an impeccable safety profile and is extremely inexpensive, making it a veritable wonder drug of sorts.

It has even been given a Nobel Prize.
 
I assume you can just buy the horse paste. It's probably made to a similar standard than pharmaceuticals. Horse lives are valued greater than your own :cool:

I agree that it is a really good medicine that should be in everyone's home. It is safe for people who are not idiots. But as one who has bought it in both animal and human for I can tell you that the human version is not cheap at least not in any place I can find it. I have kept horse paste around for years to give to my dogs. I never thought about taking it myself until this covid stuff hit. I then bought 100 12 mg pills from ivermectin.com for $120 that I cut in 4 pieces and took once a week.I gave some to a few other people who wanted it. I was going to order more from them but they changed their policy to force people to create an account at some social media site and then do all this other stuff that made no sense to me. i have seen other sites selling 30 pills in 3mg doses for $120 + you have to fill out a form and pay a consultation fee of $120 to me that does not seem to be a reasonable price when in other countries you can buy the same amount for under $1 per pill otc.
I don't think someone should have to go thru so much rigamaroll to get it. it ought to be available to anyone especially since Bill Gates is releasing infected mosquitoes into the USA. It is good and safe but it ain't cheap but I do think everyone ought to find away to have it available in whatever form they can afford. Canine heart worm medicine also has it in it as well.

You should be able to buy it over the counter at Walmart for $10 or less for 30 pills. It wholesales at 3 cents a pill I think.

so if it was sold for 25 cents a pill whoever is selling it would 800% profit. Instead people who are trying to make us think that they are being benevolent are sell it10,00% profit or more. Which makes me think they are thinking more about their wallet than the health of as many people that they can reach. To me the only way to get rid of the disease is to make as many people well as possible in the shortest amount of time possible. I am all for anyone selling a product to make money for sure I am.

If what you say is true about the wholesale price then I hope that someone who can get it will put it out there for people who cannot afford the price. All these cities giving away free clean needles ought to be giving doses of ivermectin. Because probably many people who are homeless are probably so eaten up with parasites that they can't think right even if they tried. I have no doubt that the pharma's are making buttloads of profits but there's a buttload of costs that come with it too. The costs are almost entirely regulatory but the costs are quite real however.

If we were to get rid of the FDA, yes Ivermectin would be a lot cheaper. But regulatory-free Ivermectin is already available cheap & OTC. It's just marketed for animals and not humans.

Same thing for many antibiotics. They are available OTC as fish medicine. Some fish medicine is even made in the same facilities as human medicine, as a cost saving measure.

The whole idea that medicine has to be prescribed by a doctor for it to be safe or useful is just well not true. Obviously some common sense and personal responsibility comes into play, but if you want cheap & OTC Ivermectin, it certainly is available.

I was reading that the way it was used for Covid was 12mg per day for 5 days.

IVM is best dosed by body weight. So if I have 12mg capsules, that is good for many but if you need 15 mg it would sure be nice to have 3mg tablets.

I have seen this pack for as low as $94 but I would if they are available in Mexico dirt cheap.

Here's an interesting use case. Apperently the blood of birds who take Ivermectin may be fatal to the moquito that carries West Nile Virus.

Abstract
Ivermectin (IVM)-treated birds provide the potential for targeted control of Culex mosquitoes to reduce West Nile virus (WNV) transmission. Ingestion of IVM increases mosquito mortality, which could reduce WNV transmission from birds to humans and in enzootic maintenance cycles affecting predominantly bird-feeding mosquitoes and from birds to humans. This strategy might also provide an alternative method for WNV control that is less hampered by insecticide resistance and the logistics of large-scale pesticide applications. Through a combination of field studies and modeling, we assessed the feasibility and impact of deploying IVM-treated birdfeed in residential neighborhoods to reduce WNV transmission. We first tracked 105 birds using radio telemetry and radio frequency identification to monitor their feeder usage and locations of nocturnal roosts in relation to five feeder sites in a neighborhood in Fort Collins, Colorado. Using these results, we then modified a compartmental model of WNV transmission to account for the impact of IVM on mosquito mortality and spatial movement of birds and mosquitoes on the neighborhood level. We found that, while the number of treated lots in a neighborhood strongly influenced the total transmission potential, the arrangement of treated lots in a neighborhood had little effect. Increasing the proportion of treated birds, regardless of the WNV competency status, resulted in a larger reduction in infection dynamics than only treating competent birds. Taken together, model results indicate that deployment of IVM-treated feeders could reduce local transmission throughout the WNV season, including reducing the enzootic transmission prior to the onset of human infections, with high spatial coverage and rates of IVM-induced mortality in mosquitoes. To improve predictions, more work is needed to refine estimates of daily mosquito movement in urban areas and rates of IVM-induced mortality. Our results can guide future field trials of this control strategy.
