I think it would be fantastic if Bob Barr and Chuck Baldwin debated at the march. Of course, other candidates could be welcome. Think of the attention this would get. It would also give everyone a greater sense of where these guys are on the issues at this time. Is this a good idea?

Only God would know how much attention would be given to a Barr/Baldwin debate - literally.

The march is not a campaign event. It is an issues oriented event. No one, not even Ron Paul can do any campaigning whatsoever as per the Capitol Hill Police Permit Dept.

Can Kucinich be invited and they can just kinda have an hour or two long conversation...possibly on a stage...with microphones...you know...so their 50,000 or so friends can participate in the conversation with them? That's not campaigning since it's after the last primary anyways. No?

Indeed, Deb is correct. We're not allowed to do campaign activity on Capitol Hill grounds. There's lots of other restrictions.

But I'd add that there are forums for debate. This is our time together as direct-action activists, as street activists. I like watching debates too, but this is our time to be together in spite of differences.

We're trying to get Kucinich and other "liberals" to speak because of this. Not all RP supporters or R3VOlUTIONARIES are republicans or conservatives. We want to get us all together with all our contradictions and differing opinions and just.....do it together.
