Is illegal gambling precedent based on games of chance?
Is the weather forecast just chance or is there science to it? I am surprised there is not or has not been widespread gambling on the weather. Yesterday I had a roof torn off and severe thunderstorms were eminent in 30 minutes or less. The storm was fast moving and would only last about 30 minutes. Thankfully we didn't get a drop. If the weather forecast is science, It should't be illegal to bet against it. Would betting against it even be considered gambling? Could take No rain in Denver at 2pm for $100 and downpour in Texas during the drought for $500. $800 that Las Vegas high today will be 82*.
