Ideas to get more supporters to come to the March

The idea hit me as I walked through a local community college. I saw an anti-war poster in the hallway. Maybe people can start contacting organizations on campus and let them know about the March? They'll spread the word through posters, mailings, word of mouth. We'll get a lot of students to come to the March! So start calling your local campuses!

I've also attempted to contact the following organizations through email. If we can get these organizations to contact their members through their mailing lists we can spread the word like wildfire. It looks like a long-shot though:
americanfreedomcampaign.org
ACLU of Southern California
Amnesty International USA
Campaign to Defend the Constitution
Center for Constitutional Rights
Human Rights Watch
Moveon.org

I still have to contact:
Impeachbush.org
sickofitday.org
studentsforademocraticsociety.org

http://resistinmarch.org/ seems like a real interesting site. I have contacted them to put the Revolution March in lights on their site.

Some of those groups look like good people to contact, but not all of them. This is our freedom march, not a generic anti-war rally. Groups like move-on and some of the other left-wing groups are not really what we need. These groups may agree with us on the war issue (or at least they pretend to), but that is generally where our agreements stop. If they really are so strongly anti-war, then why didn't they endorse Dr. Paul and campaign for him?

There are anti-war rallys all the time in DC and they accomplish nothing. I have been at several of them myself. We need something different. We dont need move-on.

We are currently promoting the April 15th march for the Granny Warriors. After that we will start a new promotion campaign for the DC Rally. We will display banners and links now for exchange of our banner. Please visit our website justgetthere.us and check out our slick event widget for the April 15th Freedom Rally.
